Pineapple Gourmet was created from the burning desire of Michele Belnavis Bailey to share the exotic taste and flavors of the Caribbean, specifically Jamaica, where her culinary experience began in her Grandma’s Kitchen. She later developed her skills in the test kitchen of Jamaica’s largest International food producers. Her formal culinary training at the “Culinary Academy of Long Island” led to a career at the Marriott and Ritz Carlton Hotels. Michele later developed her own gourmet product the “Jerk Pineapple Chutney” that is well received.
